Racing pays. Grinding pays less than you'd hope.
Finish any race: 5 DP. Showing up counts for something.
Podium a REAL race: 1st place pays 20 DP.
2nd place pays 15 DP.
3rd place pays 10 DP.
"Real" means at least 10 laps and 4 human-crewed bikes. Beating three bots you
tuned yourself isn't a podium — it's a rehearsal, and only pays the flat 5 DP.
Daily cap: 500 DP. After that, the well's dry until tomorrow.
The race modes bend these rules. Flip through for each one's fine print.
Keep Up!
Finishing and podiums pay exactly like any other race — once the race clears the
two bars below.
Your bike has to bank at least 30 seconds in contention. Sit up early or get
shelled at the gun and you leave with nothing.
The race has to be set for at least 3 rounds. Shorter than that and it pays zero —
not even the participation 5.
Miss either bar and the whole race pays you nothing.
Beat Your Best
Set or beat your personal best: a flat 25 DP, and it ignores the daily cap
entirely. Real cardio always pays.
Only from 10 laps up. A shorter run still records the ghost — it just doesn't
pay.
Lap counts snap to multiples of 5. No laddering a stack of tiny first-time
bonuses.
The live finish still pays the normal podium and participation rates on top.
Watt a Toaster!
The ladder has to reach the Threshold preset or higher — top rung 500 W and up —
and actually run to the end.
Your bike has to hold the corridor for at least half the total rung time, or it
pays nothing.
Miss either one and you get nothing — not even the 5 for finishing.
Clear both and it pays the normal podium and participation rates.
